      •Made improvements to the Ultrafiltration system in the recovery pilot plant in order to reduce run time and add relevant automated data collection. •Designed and conducted experiments in the granulation facility with the goal of identifying bottlenecks in the pilot plant and to find gaps between the pilot plant and production.•Successfully identified bottlenecks and gaps between production and the pilot plant and made suggestions for how to improve the pilot plant to ensure the most accurate results.•Organized all of my data into a report and presented my results to my fellow interns and Novozymes employees at the completion of my internship.
