Led community engagement initiatives, such as classes centered on emergency prevention, CPR, and first aid; several blood drives; and a clothing drive for a local homeless shelter. Helped to orient new EMTs to Rice University EMS' clinical guidelines and standard operating procedures through weekly drills and one-on-one training sessions. Assisted with providing pre-hospital emergency care during EMS calls. Provided basic life support.
