      My research focused on some morphological and allophonic phenomenon in Sɛkpɛle. The contents of the dissertation include the phonology, the morphological structure of the noun class system, noun formation processes, and the verb morphology.During the course of my studies, I took the following courses and was well assessed: Phonology, Pragmatics, Semantics, Language Typology, Computational Linguistics, and Grammar Engineering.

      My research is focused on the documentation and description of Sɛkpɛle, a Ghana-Togo Mountain language of Ghana. My thesis contains all aspects of grammar in the language which include the phonology, noun class system, verb morphology, verb and valency, clause structure and types, and complex constructions. My data has been transcribed, interlinearised with FLEx. Annotated audio and video recordings with ELAN have been deposited at the Endangered Language Archive (ELAR).       From 1st September 2005 to 31st August 2006, I took an appointment as a Teaching Assistant from the Linguistics Department of the University of Ghana as part of my National Service Scheme. I was responsible for organizing tutorials for level 200 students in the following courses Phonetics and phonology, Morphology, Introduction to Syntax, and Languages in Ghana.
