  Together with Prof. Thom Mason, I built the low-temparture high-magnetic field facility at U of T, and performed numerous neutron scattering and high-magnetic field experiments on heavy-fermion and frustrated magnetic systems.

  As a scientist and innovation manager I have explored diverse areas of science and its applications: Particle Microscopy, Strategy and Planning, CleanTech, Personal Health, Horticulture, Lighting Applications Strategy development, planning and support of technology research programs on lighting, sensing and actuation, water and air purification. I led the organisation of the Philips Corporate Research Exhibition and changed it over time in the Innovate! co-creation event. Lead of the particle optics research team, working with FEI Company. I developed and implemented new concepts for aberration correctors for Scanning and Transmission Electron Microscopes.
