  While at Milsted Langdon LLP I was working primarily on companies ranging from £500k to $250m (Ltd Co’s, LLP’s, Partnerships, Sole traders and income/expenditures) as well as Charities, Academy ’s and grant audits. I gained a great deal of audit experience where I seniored many audit teams from the planning stage all the way through to completion. While at Milsted Langdon LLP I also worked on companies Corporation Tax returns, Bookkeeping, individual ’s tax returns, tax planning, dividend planning and company projections. Part of my role was to review the work of junior staff when they had prepared accounts. I was also a training buddy for new joiners. My role involved visiting clients around the UK and Ireland. I was entrusted to visit these clients on my own and carry out audit procedures on their premises. This part of my role enabled me to experience different accounting standards and in particular, IFRS. I also represented my office at multiple internal committees. Show less
