  As Senior Auditor, I supervised teams of auditors auditing State and Local Government agencies. As Quality Assurance Officer I was in charge of reviewing the audit working papers and reports of independent Certified Public Accountants who performed audits of local governmental agencies to ensure their work was in compliance with generally accepted auditing standards and generally accepted governmental auditing standards. I also wrote policies and procedures, wrote updates to the Legislative Auditor's audit manual, gave presentations to Legislative Auditor employees and independent CPAs. Show less
