  I was involved in designing a Windows Server 2012 based Private Cloud environment based on 20 node Hyper V cluster for Centralization of IT for 8 Hospitals at SEHA. Managing a team of 12 Engineers. This environment is hosting Microsoft infrastructure applications for 18000 users (Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint (Intranet), SQL, Lync, System Center 2012 suite). Also installed 16 Node VMware Cluster for consolidated website of SEHA and other LOB applications. In my role at SKMC, I was mainly responsible for managing a team of 4 engineers who are Subject Matter Experts in Microsoft Infrastructure, VMWARE, EMC Storage. I was involved in planning, design, procurement and deployment of information technology solutions. My role additionally involved providing technical guidance to the team (assigning project work to individual engineers, monitoring work progress, measuring results, documentation of projects and processes for the Microsoft Infrastructure components in SKMC Datacentre (220+ servers). These mainly include: Active Directory, Clustered SQL 2005 / 2008 Servers, Exchange 2010 (User base of 5000), SharePoint 2007/2010, Complete Virtualization solution of VMware – vSphere 4.1 with DRS, HA, SRM with a DR site for failover using EMC Clariion CX4-240. Further scope involved Procurement, Tendering, Solution Selection, Vendor Management and Budgeting for planned Capex and Opex of applications / servers in Data Center. Within IT, I was helping in designing the CMDB configuration for Service and Server Mapping, also was involved with Biomed, Lab, Cardiology and Dental Applications Teams. As part of the ISO 2000 Service Management process, I was the Problem Manager (Incident Management) and Capacity Manager for planning of Servers and Storage.
