  Tania Katan and I created the #ItWasNeverADress campaign in 2015, during our time at GitKraken (formerly Axosoft) under the leadership of Lawdan Shojaee. We launched this campaign to shift perceptions about women in the tech industry and beyond. The campaign went viral and at its peak #ItWasNeverADress hit 18 million impressions. It has been featured on major news outlets like CNN, TIME, Yahoo!, New York Times, and more. In 2019, we incorporated #ItWasNeverADress as a non-profit, and I currently serve on the Board of Directors. Show less
