We had to pitch our idea multiple times during the selection process. The teams that advanced to the final round were each given two pupils from classes ranging from 7 to 10. The goal of the event was to prepare those kids so they could present our product on our behalf as if they had created it themselves. We started with the fundamentals of physics, chemistry, and mathematics and worked our way up to the point where they knew everything there was to know about the project and could deliver it on our behalf.
