With the encouragement and mentorship of Robert Van Aalst, principal lawyer, who played a pivotal role in my professional development, I pursued further legal studies. In early 2002, commenced my Advanced Diploma in Conveyancing, which I successfully completed in 2 years, earning an Outstanding Achievement Award from the Sydney Institute, Law Faculty. During this time, I successfully balanced my academic commitments with my role as a Legal Assistant to Robert, while also working evenings as a Legal Word Processing Operator/Coordinator at Clayton Utz. All of this was accomplished while raising 2 young daughters with minimal family support. Robert’s unwavering mentorship and guidance were instrumental throughout this period. Show less

  With nearly 40 years of experience in law, including close to 25 years with Clayton Utz, I bring a wealth of legal experience and knowledge. From 2005 to 2008, I established and operated my own conveyancing practice as a licensed conveyancer. Unfortunately, for personal reasons, I had to close the practice, however, I have remained active in the legal profession, gaining extensive experience across various areas of law, including property, strata, business, family, construction, intellectual property and civil litigation. In mid 2012 I was appointed the National Manager of Document Specialist Services at Clayton Utz. I have led significant transformations within the department and have streamlined our operations, creating a more efficient system that consistently surpasses the firm’s expectations and delivery standards. I am driven by results and have a genuine commitment to understanding and meeting our clients’ needs. My mission is to empower and inspire my team to elevate their work to the highest standards, ensuring efficiency while upholding the core values of Clayton Utz.
