      Design, development & implementation of new Helpdesk ticketing system;Replacing a legacy Microsoft Access system, I developed the new system using MS Active Server Pages (ASP) with Javascript/HTML reading from MS SQL Server hosted on IIS running on MS Windows. It was easy to use for Helpdesk engineers but also included dynamic reporting templates for management. Data extraction from MS Access to the new system was carried out using BCP and implemented over a weekend for successful cutover on a Monday morning.       --- Technical ---The role involved installing conference bridging systems into various customer environments the providing ongoing support. The systems integrated with customer networks, telephony, security, billing etc. so were typically a complex installation. Deep familiarity with MS Windows, SQL Server and a variety of networking protocols and tools were required, in addition to SCO Unix, VI, IIS, Apache, Wireshark, SSO, Lotus Notes, LDAP etc.--- Customer-Facing ---Primarily dealing with senior customer IT directly by email and phone with but also on site (eg Belgacom, Bloomberg, Ping An (China), Telecom Poland etc.). Technical Account Manager for Swisscom.--- Cross-department coordination ---The role also entailed coordinating customer responses with input from QA, Manufacturing, Engineering, Product Management, Project Management, Documentation.--- Training ---In addition to ongoing internal training I led training sessions for customers, developing course content and delivery.--- pre-Sales ---as required by the company pre-Sales could involve anything from customer site visits, to customer conference calls to on-site visits for Product Demonstrations.--- Project Management ---many installations were complex multi-party projects with input required from multiple vendors, multiple customer departments and multiple Avaya personnel.       Prior to my exit in 2020 I founded 247meeting from scratch to >€1m revenue and a team of 16. Customers included FTSE 500 companies & global multinational corporations, using internally developed bespoke systems. As Product Owner I managed 3 major software developments:Invoicing SystemI designed, specified and managed the development of a full corporate invoicing system, which included multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction invoicing, VAT reporting, Aged Debtor reporting, Credit Control, SEPA compliance, integration with online payment systems (WorldPay, PayPal, Stripe).Bespoke VoIP conference call systemWorking with a local development team I integrated and customised a Voice over IP conference call system (bridge).Once live we engaged in a process of continuous refinement based on user feedback. As Product Owner I facilitated a development team to improve audio handling, implement a patented Fraud algorithm (with Machine Learning capability) and improve stability and customer satisfaction. User Stories (New Features and bugs) were specified and tracked in Jira with regular team planning and review meetings before and after Agile development Sprints.
