  Former undergraduate research at Dr. Emily Dykuizen Cancer Epigenetics Laboratory at Purdue University. The lab focuses on understanding and targeting chromatin regulation in cancer by studying the BAF chromatin remodeling complex and the Polycomb repressive complex 1. I investigated how epigenetic inhibitors can be used to overcome prostate cancer resistance to hormonal therapeutics through cell cultures and PCR/qtPCR analysis. Assisted and aided undergraduate students navigate laboratory procedures and results. Graded homework and provided feedback. Acquired laboratory materials and set up experiments weekly.
