  At the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures project, I managed construction from start-to-finish on structural steel, the glass and steel dome, structural and architectural concrete, reinforcing steel, pedestrian bridges, miscellaneous metals, precast exterior panels, theatrical and non-theatrical audio/visual, IT/telecommunications, raised isolated floor slabs, and interior & exterior paint as a project engineer with MATT Construction. Promoted to Senior Project Engineer in June of 2019. Tasks included submittals, RFIs, change order review, BIM coordination, bid solicitation & analysis, LEED documentation for all trades, closeout, schedule updates, meeting minutes, billings, LAFD inspections, and interfacing with stakeholders at all levels. Designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Renzo Piano with Renzo Piano Building Workshop, the 300,000 sq-ft Academy Museum of Motion Pictures consists of a major renovation and expansion to the 1939 Streamline Moderne May Company Building, which is now the Saban Building which will serve as museum exhibition space for the Academy's extensive collection of film history. The new construction 45,000 sq-ft sphere building will house the 1,000-seat David Geffen Theater featuring Dolby Cinema technology, with a terrace open to the public on top covered by a prominent glass dome sphere consisting of 1,500 pieces of specially made, low-iron shingled glass panels.
