      At The Edge, I was the Visitor Services and Events Manager. I was also required to take on the role of the Communications Coordinator for a period of 6 months while the role was vacant, in addition to my regular duties. When I was promoted to Senior Communications Advisor, I was required to manage the team of 4 staff who worked regionally to run site tours for school groups, as well as manage the community education program of public events. In 2014, I was given the opportunity to move into the operational side of the business, and apply my knowledge of project management to the delivery of infrastructure projects. I am currently consulting to the business as the Villa Project Manager, working on rejuvenating the retirement village. Finncare provides a number of services to the Australian Finnish community. These include a residential aged care facility, a retirement village and home care services.
