EBO as a concept seeks to create effect rather than causing physical destruction. Defining and understanding EBO has created confusion within the US and officially no longer uses or sponsors EBO. The commanders of Bangladesh Armed Forces advocate for carrying out EBO. This research focused on ascertaining the institutional machinery requirement for Bangladesh Armed Forces to organize for EBO. From the study it is revealed that a set of factors are there as preconditions for embracing the concept and there are many impediments of Bangladesh Armed Forces for embracing the concept. It is suggested that military leaders should clearly define the term EBO,develop the organizational culture and bring harmony in EBO concept. Show less

For this paper, motivation is operationally defined as the inner force that drives individuals to accomplish personal and organizational goals. This report focuses on the employee motivation level of a selected group of officers of Bangladesh Air Force. From the analysis of the collected data, it is revealed that in general the officers are well motivated to serve the organization. Although a few negative factors are prevailing in the organization, mostly the environment consists of positive factors to keep its work force focused and engaged in the sacred responsibility of safeguarding national territorial integrity. To reduce the effects of negative factors, it is recommended to introduce new pay scale and also to train the potential commanders on their role to ensure healthy working environment. Show less
