      Some recent projects that I've been involved with include:*Partnering with the Lenoir Housing Authority and community organizations to plan, design, and build a memorial monument at the former site of Freedman High School, an important historical site for the African American community and the historic Freedman neighborhood.*Managing various components of greenway trail and sidewalk projects, including alignments, master plans, easement acquisitions, grants/funding, design, and construction.*Serving as the interim Downtown Development Director/Main Street Manager and participating in the recruitment and hiring process for the new director. *Leading a team of neighborhood stakeholders through a visioning process for a blighted corridor in order to adopt a Small Area Plan addressing historic preservation, code enforcement, land use mix, infill design standards, and streetscape plans.*Partnering with the Police Chief to innovate code enforcement in Lenoir, spearheading an omnibus code enforcement ordinance and splitting the process of code enforcement between the police and planning department.
