  I opened Rocket Comics in 1991 because, as a frequenter of comic book shops, I knew it could be done better. Most comic book shops were dank affairs run by hobbyists with little or no interest in customer service, organization or cleanliness. Rocket Comics was a comic book store FOR comic book fans. As much fun as it was, I sold the business in 1995 when offered the opportunity to join Konica’s tech team.   I was part of the Local Area Support team for Konica’s photographic paper operations. I was part of a team responsible for maintaining all computer systems to keep the round-the-clock operations running.

  Senior Application Developer

  I was the Senior Application Developer for Volvo’s 24‐hour a day, 7‐day a week call center. During my tenure with the company, I developed and launched a Customer Management Application using FileMaker Pro to replace an outdated AS400 system. The entire project from inception to launch was eight weeks. The system was replaced by a Siebel CRM after almost seven years of service.

  I began at Revival Products, Inc. (formerly Physicians Laboratories) as a database programmer. I have since moved up to Senior Programmer, Projects Manager, and my current position of Director of Web Services. I am responsible for the design and maintenance of the corporate websites, reporting and email marketing campaigns.
