      Activities and Societies: As a result of University assignments and my working career since, I have had extensive experience working on projects such as the Shell Eco-Marathon project as the lead engine designer and developer. During My Studies I was also the lecturers assistant for the Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics Lecturers which involved running practical assignments and mark test and projects. Each University has influences in their modules from the prevailing industry in the area. in Aberdeen the oil and gas sector has lead to specific courses and specific problems being included in the degree. At Nelson Mandela University, the prevailing industries in the city is Automotive and manufacturing.
