  PROJECT:Diamer Basha Dam Project, I was responsible for the following Appurtenant Structures;1- Balanced Cantilever Box Girder Bridge:Total Length 312 m, Mid span = 156 m, Bridge consists of 36x Piles of dia. 1.5 m with Avg depth 41 m and 5.25 m inserted in to the Rock, Pile Cap of 22.8x22.8x3.0, Pier Foundation of size 20 m x 19 m x 4.5 m, 2x Pier & 2x Abutments.No of Segments= 72Construction Methodology: Cast in Situ Box girder segments using "Overhead Form traveler" Post tensioning of 64 No Longitudinal Tendons Transverse tendons provided in each segment.2- Power Tunnel Outlets: Length 430 m Approx.Slope approximately 45 m high, divided in to 3 benches of 15 m in height.Rock cutting/Excavation performed using the drill and blast method.Utilized Pre-split blast and Main production blast techniques for Excavation.Implementation of Rock support measures, including rock bolt installation, Wire Mesh Installation, and shotcrete spraying as per Geological Mapping recommendation.Responsibilities:1- Assist the Construction Manager in overseeing the project from start to finish.2- Managing and coordinating the Site construction team and sub contractors.3-Foresee the Project resources and materials 1 month prior to start the activity.4- Monitoring Project progress and ensuring adherence to timelines and budget.5- Ensuring Compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.6- Handling any issues or challenges that arise during construction.7- Communicating with stakeholders and providing regular updates on the Project's status.   ARE / Senior Engineer QA/QC (4500-Megawatt Roller Compacted Concrete Gravity DAM)

  PROJECT:Diamer Basha Dam is a 4500 Megawatt Roller Compacted Concrete Gravity Dam located in Diamer district of Gilgit Baltistan Pakistan having a contract value of $13.684 Billion USD. The Project Scope contains Access Roads, Bridges, Diversion & Flushing Tunnels, Dam wall, Spillway. The Dam wall height is 272 m while crest length stands at 1.02 km. Upon Completion it will be tallest RCC gravity dam in the world and will extend the life of Tarbela Dam and contribute to flood control and irrigation purposes. I am working as a Senior Engineer QA/QC and my main tasks performed are as follow:Responsibilities:1- Performing on site QA/QC activities in accordance with this procedure including routine observations, regular spot checks and participation in planned inspections.2-Supporting the development and optimization of quality system at Diamer Basha Dam based on ISO 9001 Standards.3- Review Documents, prepare checklists, perform audits and assessments, and generate final audit report.4- Conduct Quality system Audits and facilitated corrective actions to address identified issues, ensuring adherence to quality requirements.5- Verify the quality requirements for products and services met the project standards.6- Promote safety awareness and compliance with safety rules and requirements in collaboration with E&HS team within the organization.7-Reporting observations & Non- conformance to contractor by completion of a construction phase corrective action request (QAORs & CCAR)8-Maintaining records of QAORs, NCRs, Quality Audits and CCARs.9- Identifying trends and common areas for improvements.10-Prepare weekly and monthly reports and submit to Manager QA/QC.
