  Senior Engineer, Technical Advisor and Subject Matter Expert for Mechanical Engineering in the Planning Yard. Duties include (but not limited to) conducting engineering studies to determine overall requirements such as component size, capability, arrangement or special material; advising others in the development or evaluation of mechanical systems; and developing unique analysis techniques to resolve future problems and to minimize the degree or scope of seemingly unyielding problems. Expert in Naval Surface Ship Fire Main systems (including wet & dry sprinkling systems) and Firefighting systems including HALON 1301, Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF), Aqueous Potasium Carbonate (APC), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), and HFP. Provide programming oversite and act as technical liason with programmers in developing web based drawing front sheet program that interfaces with AutoCAD.Lead Planning Yard technical representatives in development of a new web based Frontsheet Program for use Navy wide as a Corporate Application. Manage 6 engineers in auxiliary piping conception, design, development, production support and modernization of all Pacific Fleet Aircraft Carriers.
