Access to recovery indiana state contractor (freedom ministries pastora)

Much of my work at Calvary Temple was volunteer, though I was able to provide myself with an income when I was awarded a contract with the State of Indiana in January of 2010. This contract allowed me to provide Faith Based Counseling, Case Management Services, Transportation, and other services to persons in recovery from additions who were referred to my agency. Freedom Ministries was housed inside of Calvary Temple. In the beginning I was the sole service provider. Within six months I hired additional staff to assist with service provision. My job duties entailed directing Freedom Ministries, navigating the wide gap between the church and the client communities, training staff, administrative duties for the agency, enrolling eligible clients in the Access to Recovery Program, educating myself and my staff about community service providers and making referrals to other providers in the community, providing the services to clients that chose our agency for participation, providing Indy Go Bus Passes to eligible clients, providing a Faith-Based 12-step recovery program at our location (Celebrate Recovery), providing transportation to participants to and from our programming, proving parenting assistance in the form of a Children's Group for those whose parents were in recovery, and numerous other services. Upon the completion of our contract, I set into motion the process of closing down the agency, referring clients to other providers, and setting things in motion to continue the Celebrate Recovery program without my assistance. Marriage & family therapist

As an Experiential Therapist, I am always, in collaboration with my clients, working to bring Creative Transformation and Healing to their lives. I am interested in the ways my clients have experienced growth in the past and how we can use this to empower them into their fullest potential. Thank you for considering me for this very personal process! Treatment typically begins when clients are overwhelmed to the point they need some help to grow through and past tough situations. Though it often begins concretely with stress and conflict management, this work often deepens into fruitful re-examination of personal values, family dynamics, problematic relationship patterns, & existential or Spiritual themes. The Spirit of my counseling invites individuals to explore the struggles that have limited their lives. I would love to help you feel understood, supported, accepted, safe, connected and empowered so that you can successfully engage life. During our work together we will focus on creating solutions and making opportunities out of your struggles.I offer a safe, non-judgmental, empathetic Healing Space in which your true self can emerge and you can experience healing and growth. Together, let's get creative, raise hope, and find solutions. Show less
