      Sept 2007 - now

I have led an outstanding group of educators through the design and implementation of Summit Learning, a project-based, personalized learning model that is built on core values, cognitive skills, content knowledge and mentorship. Along with an online learning platform, the Summit model integrates the four major subjects (English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies) and turns them into STEAM and Humanities, a much more comprehensive and integrated approach to learning. I also curate playlists to deliver personalized resources in mathematics. I use to real-time data and am able to target different students for intervention daily. It is a very rich and comprehensive student learning environment. Show less As a 6th grade math teacher, my goal was always to differentiate instruction for diverse groups of learners using collaboration, games, puzzles and technology. As the Team Leader, I led weekly meetings with the goal of fostering collaboration amongst students and innovation in the classroom. As a group, we always tried to ask the right questions about student process and achievement, and we tracked and analyzed their data to develop classroom feedback and school instructional strategy. Together we also developed integrated, multidisciplinary projects. Show less
