  Sailing Instructor

  Collaborate with peer instructors to create an educational, safe, and enjoyable sailing camp for youth aged 7 to 15, with varying skill levels. My responsibilities include providing hands-on assistance both on the water and on land for all ages, running drills and races, providing lesson plans, as well as sailing with kinder sailors ages 3-6 in the mornings. In 2022, I became a certified US Sailing Level 1 Instructor through an intensive online course and in-person evaluation with several other of our instructors. As a team, we maintain good relationships and effective communication with parents and the Yacht Club, ensuring a positive experience for all involved. Show less

  Desk Assistant - Residential Life

  I work as a front desk assistant at Santa Clara University's largest predominantly first-year residence hall, where I spend several evenings each week assisting students with questions, facilitating the rental of front desk items, resolving any issues, and ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all students.

  Head Sailing Instructor

  In 2024, I was selected as a Head Instructor for the Grand Lake Sailing Foundation's Sailing School. I managed a 16-person instructor team, oversaw hiring, organized students and instructors into weekly groups, and handled communication with parents. This role strengthened my leadership, organization, and interpersonal skills.
