  Previously the TPM for Surround 360, which is our VR 3D 360 video camera (http://fortune.com/2017/04/19/facebook-360-camera-virtual-reality/). Surround 360 exists as a program within 'Building 8', which is Facebook's consumer Hardware group focused on building hardware that helps connect the world. I support the team in a variety of functions, such as: Roadmap strategy & implementation, cross-team communication, hardware & software development, content partner management & development, vendor management, purchasing, lab staff management & attending expo/conference events on behalf of team. Prior to Surround 360, I spent a number of years focusing on helping Facebook teams measure & improve service reliability. I managed the overall weekly incident management meeting for Facebook as a whole alongside our VP of Infrastructure & head of Production Engineering We covered all internal products such as Ads & Messenger & related products like WhatsApp, Oculus & Instagram. I also directly managed the incident management reviews for areas such as: Privacy, CoreData(items like Memcache), Messenger & Video/Media. The underlying process & software developed now help coordinate & run 30+ reliability reviews. I've had the opportunity to work on a diverse set of project & program areas for Facebook, such as: automating data center business operations, remediating financial audits, User & Data Privacy, automating service migrations, service reliability measurement & tooling, network & data center infrastructure, disaster recovery, server & network provisioning. I've also had the privilege to mentor several interns in the past few years but now focus on mentoring intern managers to create successful development plans. I also like to interview folks when time allows for a variety of teams across the company. Show less

  Senior Technical Program Manager

  Part of Facebook’s initial tech presence expansion in Los Angeles for Oculus, I was our first TPM on site & transferred from our office in Menlo Park. I am currently the TPM For our Discovery & Distribution org supporting the Oculus Companion Apps (for Android & iOS) used for headset set-up & management. I also support the product infrastructure team responsible for creating online logging frameworks, faster software releases & other efforts which accelerate engineering productivity. I manage our reliability program & host our weekly incident management conversation. I also manage our Pain Points programs both for Consumer and DEVs. Lastly, I support office building efforts and support culture & community engagement programs for FB LA. I have previous supported Ranking, Search, Feeds, Notification teams here is LA as well. I’ve transferred from my TPM role in Facebook’s Building 8 - where I was the TPM on the calling, set-up & photo software for our Portal devices. I am continuing my overall career & time with Facebooks family of products by supporting & working with Oculus. Show less
