  Oversee the management of Student Services encompassing legal concerns as it pertains to IDEA and ADA regulations, staffing, budget and service delivery models to best serve students in the least restrictive environment. I organize and carry out staff development for educators. I consult on complaints, IEP concerns and serve on the board for Parents United.7/7/07-6/30/13 School District of Shorewood-Shorewood Intermediate School Principal and Director of Special Education-Developed and implemented a comprehensive student-focused disciplinary plan, ensuring a positive school climate; address social emotional issues. Led professional development ensuring vertical and horizontal curriculum alignment. Restructured Title I taking the model from student tracking to student focused. Implemented Character Education, recognized as an exemplary middle school 2010 and recognized as National Mix it Up School in 2012 eliminating the barriers that lead to social isolation among adolescents.
