      The UK Listing Authority was originally housed within the London Stock Exchange, but when the LSE was demutualised in 2000, the UKLA (along with its staff) was transferred to the FSA.Promoted to team manager in 2001 I had responsibility for a team of lawyers and accountants who applied the UK Listing Rules. In addition to being a senior member of the management team where I was involved in a wide range of policy decisions across the FSA, I was responsible for regulating the listing activities of investment entities, and in 2005 I was seconded to the FSA’s policy team where I drafted a key policy paper. Show less I re-joined PwC in January 2009 as a Senior Manager to work with the team of administrators of Lehman Brothers International (Europe) – the investment bank’s London based global headquarters - shortly after the bank entered administration in September 2008. During this time I held a number of positions relating to the cash management and operating cost functions. Highlights included:- Responsibility for accounting and reporting of receipts totalling £24bn in 32 currencies- System creation and development to facilitated complex reporting- Relocation of head office - Recharging of costs amongst group companies (c £100m per annum in early years). Agreeing payment phasing and evidencing costs. Documenting recharge agreement (legal). - Monitoring working capital needs- Introduction of new administration cashbook system and integration with all Lehman system- Introduction of accruals based accounting process - Oversight of cost controls- Recruitment and management of teams to support function- Lead contact in multilateral negotiations to successfully repatriate significant funds from China, including visits to China and HK.I completed the Lehman assignment in June 2015 and returned to core PwC projects.
