  As part of my Bachelor of Social Work studies I completed a 15 week Full Time placement from March – June in 2015. From this experience i have gained the ability to positively interact and communicate with various people ranging from clients, work colleagues, peers, organisations, and company representatives. I developed skills to advocate, create rapport, case note, work within frameworks, refer clients, undertake risk assessments, understand court proceedings, and undertake case investigation. Students are in the program for an 8 week block, spending 5 weeks away on the residential component of the program, living at another campus in the Brisbane ranges for three nights per week.
