  Scope of Responsibility.© Manage Human Resource function for 1,500+ union and non-union employees in 20 locations. Administer resolutions on associate relations issues within company policy and/or union contract for grievances, lawsuits, EEOC charges, contract interpretation, employment law analysis, and discipline.Management Training.© Develop/deliver management-team training on diversity, zero tolerance, effective hiring practices, and leadership training. Trains and advises management staff on how to conduct and complete performance evaluations/meetings.© Advise management on discipline and policy/contract interpretation regarding all actions affecting pay, demotions, disciplinary transfers, last and final warnings and other related actions for hourly associates.Union Liaison.© Coordinate/participate in grievance meetings and respond to information requests. Serves as communications link with company and unions. Compiles research and prepares required analysis, reports, and documentation for grievance meetings, information requests, and general communication issues with unions.Conflict Resolution.© Respond to associate complaints and resolve within company policy, procedures, and union contracts. Conduct investigations of grievances, EEO (sexual harassment, discrimination), wage & hour, hotline complaints.
