  I was lead bank analyst for AmSouth's financial reengineering project. I worked on all aspects of the project including product and line of business profitability and transfer pricing. Worked with senior and line management to develop an economic capital allocation model based on risk levels in the individual business units. I called on small businesses and correspondent banks outside of AmSouth's primary market area. I was responsible for originating and managing a $25 million in deposits and a loan portfolio of $35 million. The loan portfolio was equally divided between purchased loan participations and bank holding company loans. I helped develop South Georgia into a profitable commercial banking market. I worked as an analyst with the bank's senior management and its investment bankers in developing AmSouth’s interstate banking and line of business acquisition strategy. Determined the financial and operational impacts of all acquisitions.

I had direct line of business responsibility for the bank’s mortgage banking and investment services activities.As Chief Credit Officer I was responsible for risk grading the bank’s loan portfolio, managing the bank’s problem loans, participating loan to correspondent bank and I served as the primary liaison with the bank’s regulator.
