Member of the Senate's Curriculum and Instruction Committee.Educate staff and faculty on rights and responsibilities as it relates to accommodations through consultation, training, workshops, and meetings. Collaborate with and refer students to appropriate campus and community based resources in order to provide a high level of wraparound student support. Manage data for the office to track growth, outreach efforts, student demographics, trends in diagnoses, and GPA to better understand our student population and identify areas that need increased outreach and focus. Participate in outreach efforts to educate students, parents, staff, and faculty about the resources and supports available for students with disabilities. I represent Wayne State Student Disability Services as Treasurer of the Michigan chapter of the Association for Higher Education and Disability organization, as well as immediate Past President of the Michigan Rehabilitation Association.
