  Developing Java Spring Boot microservices that make sure your online orders are picked and fulfilled in the optimal way.Key achievements: - Leading the design, implementation, testing and rollout of a Picking optimization feature that provides £6 M savings per annum. - Key Engineer in rolling out the new Picking Management system to Customer Fulfilment Centres. Deployment was done without major incidents or drop in productivity across all 6 sites. - Designed and implemented an algorithm for effective and scalable store map generation, reducing time taken from couple of hours to several minutes across thousands of stores. - Implemented application logic changes based on feedback from Store Colleagues and Data, ensuring accurate customer order picking sequence and thus significantly reducing delayed van departures. - Playing a key role in continuous improvement of Observability dashboards and alerts, helping to save thousands of Customer orders every month.
