Defined vision, mission, and overall strategy for Data Governance in Content Platforms. Led Schema Discovery effort, establishing first baseline and approach for data cataloging in Content Platforms, documenting 34 core systems. Selected and set up Alation instance, as well as model for data cataloging and stewardship. Designed and won approval for a major capital program to catalog the systems of Content Platforms, from running vendor RFPs to presenting for VP buy-in, in partnership with Analytics, Data Science, and Engineering teams. Worked closely with Data Intelligence, InfoSec, and Engineering to plan cataloging strategy, standards, and interaction with data mart. Partnered with an array of stakeholders for stewardship model. Began the execution phase when the project was cut short due to strategy and budget changes after a reorganization. Led and coordinated the evaluation and decision to migrate taxonomy and ontology management to Mondeca and informed the adoption of a taxonomy architecture based on my previous work. Show less
