  I tracked fleet vehicles moving through missile complexes spread over 9,600 square-miles and three states. I coordinated with state/local officials with road closures due to severe winter weather, to ensure personnel and civilian safety. I worked to move the company from handwritten to digital tracking by modifying and deploying an Access database to track the fleet vehicles.

  I notified banks of changes that schools provided to student accounts, and added either refunds or cancellations of accounts. Within a month, I worked as a backup team leader and ensured that daily work was distributed among my peers. Within 4 months I had become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and was training new hires in our functions. I also volunteered for special projects to broaden my knowledge of the financial process.

  I was responsible for monitoring, inspecting and maintaining the Heavy Vehicle Simulator (HVS); a $1.5M piece of testing equipment. I ran asphalt rutting profiles to predict life expectancy of roadways using that designed asphalt mix. My duties include testing structural steel and reviewing material certifications for items that are used in FDOT projects according to ASTM and AASHTO testing specifications. I was also the go-to person for PC questions and help within my department. I had played a significant role moving the office from handwritten to digital tracking and recording by creating and maintaining an Excel spreadsheet for all steel test results.
