By engaging with schools, employers can help young people develop the skills they need to enter the world of work, while building a sustainable pipeline of talent. DYW North East also supports organisations who wish to offer apprenticeships by helping them to access the framework that is right for them.DYW North East is committed to equality of opportunity; a large focus of our work is developing support for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged. We work with employers, no matter their size or sector, to help them support the Young Person’s Guarantee (YPG). The YPG aims to connect every 16 to 24 year old in Scotland to a positive opportunity. Signing up to the Young Person’s Guarantee allows employers to plan and structure their activities with young people, with support from DYW North East and our partners.
