  I was placed on brine (salt water) section where brine was purified to the extent of 20 parts per billion. It is quite difficult to achieve such purity levels but it is necessary to keep the electrolytic cell free from scaling and other damaging effects, So I witnessed that the company was utilizing its resources to purify brine as much as possible by passing it through number of unit operations and filters to achieve quality product and enhance cells life.
