  Finance Lead is head of finance process on the contract and presenting finance view to counterparts (Commercial Manager/ Client Project Executive/ Delivery Project Executive) on the account. The analyst is responsible for interacting with the business units and geographies on the forecast, actuals, budget and business metrics. The analyst is responsible for the development of forecast and budget variance analysis and provides business assessments on an on going basis. The analyst designs, prepares, and presents detailed analysis of business issues and recommended solutions to senior management. Main areas of responsibility:> RevenueApplication of revenue recognition rules (including deferrals);Identifying need for gross/net differentiation;Calculation of multiLoB revenue split according to contract/DoU;Book to Bill reconciliation> CostAwareness of all types of cost (eg claim, 3rd party, HW etc);Creation of cost forecast with guidance from client team;Calculation of GP%;Basic cost reporting and variance analysis;Review and validation of claim entries;Awareness of IBM accounting processes and principles;Creation of vouchers based on existing templates;Recommendation of cost reduction initiatives;Accruals/deferrals calculation (non-SOD)> Forecast & Planning Preparation of forecast and/or roadmap in line with contractual obligations and potential opportunities/risks;Comparation of actuals to pricing case/budget;Active participation in reviews with Local/Global teams;Ability to differentiate treatment for gross/net> Reports/AnalysisResponsible to lead Financial Analysis;Report multi-LoB revenue/cost split modelling;Provide daily analysis during close, (YtY, QtQ, variance explanation, bridges, AR reporting, Actuals v Plan, Roadmap updates)> Signing & BacklogCalculation and certification of signings and backlog;Calculation of multi-LoB revenue, signings and backlog Show less
