  Objective:To be responsible for the design of the Ready Mix VAPs and work closely with the Product Development Managers in order to develop and deliver superior quality product to customer specification and satisfaction, while deploying the transfer tools Kit.Responsibilities:1-Effective mix formulation development and testing, as well as performance of Laboratory QC activities to assist product development and commercialization initiatives in accordance with the Lafarge Product Strategy and Marketing Plan.2-Select & validate raw materials in accordance with the transfer tool kit and local specifications and standards.3-Prepare and perform formulation tests that support the creation, development and improvement of new and existing standard, premium, performance and specialty mixes4-Perform lab duties including preparing and running lab/plant formulation trials, cylinder/beam preparation, testing & data logging5-Ensure all tests are conducted in accordance with applicable standards and internal Lafarge test protocols6-Provide VAP training at the plant and area level7-Liaise with Area QC/VAP staff8-Contribute to the right usage of the product by customers and applicators, in collaboration with the BU Marketing team.9-Communicate with the appropriate BU marketing Director on all aspects related to the product, and particularly to its specifications and expected technical performance.10-Communicate regularly to the Product Managers on the result obtained, problems encountered, and customer/applicator comments on the product.11-Validate/support and lead VAP implementation at the plant level and ensure Quality Control for the VAP products are integrated at the area QC system.12-responsible for VAP products Such as Stabilized Mortar,Steel Fiber concrete(SFRC)and pervious Concrete . Show less Greater Cairo Metro project line 3 Phase 1 Line 3 extends from the northwest of the Greater Cairo at Imbaba to the northeast .The line crosses the River Nile twice.The total length of the line is approximately 30.6 km of which 28.1 km is an underground section .Responsibilities: Coordinate and interact with the main contractor through meetings and correspondences and share in deciding for the main matters related to the concrete works. Set and organize the batching plant's Quality Management, and draw all the required submittals including method statement documents, quality plan and safety / environmental manuals and any supplementary documents relate to the concrete production. Instill awareness and instruct the staff in implementing the Quality Assurance.  Documentate the necessary technical data including suitability tests performed on all the materials for the initial selection specified for the project's concrete production, each one separately. Document-ate all the technical data regarding the trial mixes and the approved mixes updates. Check that the Company and Subcontractors implement the QAPs. Organize work plans. Supervise and/or execute the inspections for hold point’s release. Execute verification (spot checks) on inspections carried out by production personnel. Ensure that all planned inspections are carried out. Manage the laboratory activities and follow the tests related to the qualification of products performed in the different laboratories and those routine tests performed at the JV lab necessary to inform or conclude about the conformity. Monitor the corrective measures of the non-conformance (NC) and keep the corresponding status reports.  Collect and check completed work plans or sub plans, and prepare all the quality control work sheets. Analyze and evaluate all records and allocate shortcomings.
