  Graduate student and teaching assistant

  As a teaching assistant, I instructed undergraduates in human anatomy and physiology as well as comparative anatomy and physiology of vertebrates, and I provided individualized instruction to my students when required. I also served as a lab coordinator, which involved holding weekly lab meetings and supervising other teaching assistants.

  I have a research and teaching background in functional and evolutionary morphology of vertebrates. I taught laboratory sections of introductory cell and organismal biology, comparative physiology and anatomy of vertebrates, human biology, advanced human physiology, advanced ecology, and advanced evolution. I mentored Wellesley's first Luce Scholar cohort and STEM Posse through the Posse Foundation, and was the faculty co-advisor for the Wellesley College Chapter of the Science Club for Girls.
