  Worked on the research project Visualizing Thurston Geometries in VRhttp://meglab.wikidot.com/research:fall2020- Headed a part of the project involving the formation of Ford Circles and Ford Spheres using a raycasting shader I developed in unity to visualize the Circles/Sphere configuration (See here for more: https://github.com/wellssam100/Raycasting). - Developed scripts in C++ and HLSL to draw in our visualizations, support imaginary number algebra and configure the Ford Spheres following the work of Sam Northshield in his paper “Ford Circles and Spheres” - Presented our findings in a poster session and a research symposium, which allowed us to discuss our research with other researchers and faculty as well as field questions about different aspects of the project- Developed understandings of Hyperbolic Thurston Geometries and assisted in developing the visualizations in Unity Show less
