      Planned, coordinated, and executed hardware and software upgrades; addressed complex issues and managed network engineering, desktop support, applications, quality assurance, cGMP documentation, legal validations, disaster recovery, telecommunications, and databases.Managed local infrastructure department, performed quarterly reviews, and improved staff morale and customer satisfaction by cross-training support technicians and enacting a 24/7/365 rotation of staff, which led to 120% improvement of SLA’s in less than 6 months. Which in turn generated recognition from other staff/departments for the exceptional work being done and let to the IT being awarded with a “Hospie” award for the year and independent award of more than 150+ Spot awards from employee’s throughout the plant within a 6 month time period.Single handily managed multiple projects to include the awarded of $700K for a virtual system upgrade, to include four new ESXi hosts and a Dell EMC 5400 storage area network (SAN). Which enabled the virtualization of more than 30 physical servers, which created a 100% uptime and enabled excellent disaster recovery plan and also enabled off site backups. Also, I was given $2M for capital improvements for VoIP install; conducted all stages of PMP personally, which resulted in a successful deployment of more than 900 Cisco VoIP systems throughout the organization.Assumed the manager’s duties in addition to own; reorganized the IT Manager role within the organization to become transparent, which gave the IT department more insight into operations and new changes; moreover, the reorganization allowed for IT input upfront vice IT having to figure out how to make things work after the money had already been spent. This generated a $350K impact to corporate savings due to the reduction of rework and new material’s. Show less
