  Currently, I design semi-automated machines for fire protection product assembly. Projects are completed utilizing lean manufacturing concepts with the main idea of value added operations for minimal part handling and maximum efficiency of operator labor. I have been project lead for custom machines purchased from outside vendors, including but not limited to, JR Automation and Mission Machine Design. Use of data acquisition software real time (Ignition) to complete data dive through problem resolution. Machines designed include testing equipment, assembly equipment, & in process gauging. I design equipment for minimal adjustments to maximize our capability with a sustained setup of machine. I have also performed custom tooling for machining of our parts. I have programmed Fanuc robot programming to ensure new product introductions into custom cells. In addition, I am fluent in design software including Creo and Solidworks. Show less
