Required to contact potential interviewees on a daily basis and to network with some of the community leaders in order to obtain stories. In charge of completing an hour weekly program for Rogers Television. Trusted to direct five camera people and a crew of approximately ten.

  Worked as the lower pan camera operator at the Western Fair race track. Responsible for maintaining a smooth and constant shot of the horses. Required to set up, store, and maintain camera to ensure it's quality.

  Sept 2007 - Jun 2008

  Production Tape Operator

  Worked as a part-time production tape operator for the news. Duties include: organizing many tapes for hour long productions, uploading and downloading clips from Gateway, preparing content for the internet (including editorial aspect), completing dubs, arranging remote feeds from the field, playing back tapes for the newscast. Work directly with the news room and control room to ensure the 6pm deadline is met.

  TSN - The Sports Network - Canada

  May 2008 - now

  Worked as a full time master control ingest operator at TSN. Also double as a technical director for on-air master control. Duties include: editing and managing master control Harris playout list, monitoring multiple records using Sony Beta VTR machines, writing out cue sheets, co-ordinating with production/programming/library/management, quality control of final product, previewing and preparing shows for air. Must follow a rigid program log and feed sheet, be able to manage time when multiple records are coming down, and help edit for time. Work exclusively with Harris and Leitch Automated Systems.
