      Aug 2012 - now

Mothers with a Message is a group of 6 mothers currently who share the pain of losing a child to violent crime. Mothers have a message to the youth about choices and consequences and who is affected long term by the decisions they make as they are growing up.We work closely with the San Diego Police Department and Off the Streets helping at curfew sweeps and speaking to youth of all ages about making good life choices and surrounding themselves with people who love them, We share the real life pain of a mother ,truthful stories, painful stories we share so that your child can live so the youth will chose a different direction from the one they might be on. Our stories are not make believe, We don't get to turn the channel or rewrite the ending, the ending to bad choices is death or prison and a lifetime of pain for the family you love. Show less
