  For Hestron corporation, I managed existing land holdings and executed a variety of development projects—including land development, multifamily, residential and commercial—in Morehead City and eastern North Carolina. On an independent basis, I acquire and improve raw land and teardown properties, building and renovating vacation homes in areas including Mont-Tremblant, Quebec and Kiawah Island, SC. I manage these vacation property rentals as well as place properties on the market for sale. Regarding partnerships, I coordinate with land use planners and general contractors and partner closely with resort operations, hospitality, local real estate agents and other stakeholders to maximize property marketing and to mitigate potential impacts of real estate development.Additionally, and on a daily basis, I lead real estate financial planning/forecasting processes and develop short- and long-term strategies to maximize value. Highlights in this position include:✔ Developed a significant portion of Morehead City, including erecting shopping centers, hotels, a bank, The Landings townhome community and Mitchell Village. ✔ Achieved success in fully leasing developments (including the Sound Bank building and Hestron Executive Plaza); The Landings was highly successful as it was pre-sold before construction was complete. ✔ Maximized vacation rental income and achieved 100% occupancy, including during the 2008 housing crisis.
