      Conducted independent research under Dr. Samuel Awuah in the chemistry department at the University of Kentucky. My research involved creating an assay to measure the mismatch repair capacity of cancer cells as a function of anti PD-1/PD-L1 sensitivity utilizing plasmids. I also conducted a variety of biological assays such as cell viability, apoptosis, and cell cycle as well as conducting western blots to measure relative protein levels in cancer cells treated with prospective anti-cancer gold compounds.
