      I initially started out as a journalist for the website and match programme after graduating from university, before eventually becoming programme editor and also taking on duties as the main press contact for the club, managing press conferences, interviews, media liaison and all content from the club's digital channels.

      As a senior member of the FA's digital and editorial content team based at Wembley Stadium, I oversee, produce and publish content for our owned EnglandFootball.com and TheFA.com web channels along with managing, planning and editing our printed publications such as the England and FA Competitions matchday programmes.I have previously worked in a variety of roles such as the main writer, social media producer and press officer for England teams, across tournaments such as the World Cup (2010 & 2014), European Championships (2012 & 2016), European U19 Finals (Czech Rep 2008, Ukraine 2009, France 2010, Estonia 2012), the FIFA U20 World Cup Finals in Egypt in 2009, Colombia in 2011 and Turkey 2013 and the Euro U21 Finals of 2015 and 2017 and the Toulon Tournaments of 2014 and 2016.I played a role in the start-up, development and subsequent evolution of the FA's social media, online and video strategy and production for the above competitions, aiming to engage, inform and entertain the different audiences as well as reasoned and effective promotional use for the organisation's commercial objectives.My role with a variety of the national squads has seen me help to educate and advise FA staff and England players on their use of social media while on international duty and back with their clubs, particularly during the 'early' years from 2009-12.Initially started with the FA as a staff writer in 2007.
