      2020 Richmond History Maker The Valentine Mar 2020 Recognized for work on BLK RVA, a tourism campaign designed to support Black-owned businesses and cultural attractions. The community-driven project launched in August 2019 and continues to bring awareness to the rich and vibrant Black community in the Richmond Region.

      Style Weekly's Top 40 Under 40 2015 Style Weekly Oct 2015 With the help of countless community partners, I launched OutRVA with the aim of telling travelers that Richmond is welcoming to the LGBT community. Bolstered by an article in The New York Times, the campaign has generated significant media coverage and is shifting outdated perceptions of Richmond. I want everyone to know how wonderful it is to live here and part of that is explaining that Richmond is welcoming to everyone.
