Some included women’s health, arts in public health, biostatistics, genetic epidemiology, gambling as a public health issue, health applications, mental health and COVID-19, and participating in the International Festival of Public Health. At the festival, I got to do a poster presentation of the descriptive statistics of geospatial disparities amongst urban cities in England. My partner and I found this by calculating the Urban Health Index. I focused on 12 social determinants of health. We were awarded the young investigator award for our presentation. During some class sessions, we would also visit museums and historic sites across the city so we could be immersed in Manchester’s culture. Show less
