  User research by analyzing who are the target users in China and interview similar people in theUK according to their demographic. Interviewed 20 potential customers at the insight stage andheld a product developing workshop with 12 passersby on the high street.Designed and produced 5 carrier bag samples in 2 months, from user testing and pattern designon Illustrator to sourcing fabrics and laser cutting. The designs' IP was bought by NIO for £2500and is in active production.

  Provided with no clear brief on a specialised project that LIXIL, a multinationalthe housing-equipment company, was stuck on for months, I requested the responsibility for andwas subsequently tasked with leading the design, production, and presentation of 15 smart (IoT)hospital bathroom appliances.Rapidly educated me on a new industry, conducting independent market research oncompetitors, adopting best-practices for this niche and experimenting with cutting-edgetechniques, resulting in unprecedented praise from both my lead designer and importantstakeholders for my proactivity, speed of learning, and meticulous attention to detail. Theproducts are currently in active development by LIXIL.References from my seniors highlighted how my persistent curiosity and unique communicationstyle of producing quick drawings, CAD models, and renders transformed the team’s morale andstimulated a more open and expressive internal culture.
