      -Designed a prototype to limit needle injections for hemodialysis patients to decrease vascular stenosis and infiltration.-Led the 5 person design team in patent and FDA research prior to prototype concept generation.-Proposed category concepts for prototype brainstorming and influenced group recommendation to include Doppler ultrasound, spring loaded injection, standard needle and handheld structure.-Utilized Solidworks to create sketched drawings for prototype assembly and construction.-Developed prototype testing procedures, identified preliminary hazards and formed risk strategies.-Oversaw collaboration with client (UC Davis Medical Center) and hemodialysis patients.
